Loved Ones,
Blessings to all of you! Those of you who don’t
follow us on the website or e-mail may be wondering what has happened to us. We
are alive and thriving! So many good things are happening, where do I begin?
First we have a building!! The Lord has impressed us to call the church,
“Shiloh’s Place.” If you read Genesis 49:10 you will note that Jesus is also
referred to as Shiloh/Messiah. We consider this, “The Lord’s Place.” The
building address is:
8229 46Th Avenue North
St. Petersburg, Florida 33709
The services we have committed to are:
*Sunday morning at: 10:30am
*Wednesday evening Leadership meetings: 7pm
*Thursday evening service: 7pm
*Saturday evening senior citizens services:
5:30pm
We have some other services in mind with staff to
conduct them but we are still working out the days and times. Our first service
is:
*Thursday July 23rd
Our grand opening is:
*Sunday August 9Th
If you plan to be in the area, please join us! We
are in the process of working out details and getting the building ready. I am
asking each one of you to make it a point to pray for all of us and the work
that the Lord is doing here. These are very challenging economic times and if we
ever needed a harvest it is now. Remember that the seed that we sow determines
our harvest. If you sow corn you will reap corn. If you don’t believe me, ask a
farmer. If you sow kindness you will reap kindness. If you sow money, what will
you reap? Many people think in these difficult times they should cut back on
their giving but that is wrong thinking. Now is when the reaper will overtake
the sower Amos 9:13. There is a reward to those who hear and obey God’s word.
The world around us is in chaos but God wants us to be in peace and plenty so
that we can help those who are in turmoil and want. Now is the appointed time to
get seed in the ground! If you want a harvest of finances then sow your
financial gift into this ministry and watch God multiply it! This ministry is
fertile ground! Our heartfelt thanks go out to all those who have faithfully
supported us I command a harvest of God’s increase into your lives now!
We did an interview about my book entitled,
“Jesus Loves Me” on a CTN (Christian Television Network) program called
Homekeepers with Arthelene Rippy. If you go to her site I believe you can you
can receive a copy of the interview done on May 27Th 2009. You can
access Arthelene’s site from the CTN website:
http://www.ctnonline.com/
Or if you would like a DVD of the interview send
us a donation of $10.00 or more and we will send you one. The interview went
well and we were grateful to God for the opportunity.
We also had an appearance scheduled with TBN in
Miami but we have had to reschedule that. We are working out the dates in the
next few weeks and we will let you know, when we know. The good news is that we
may be able to do it in Orlando which is only a two hour drive from us instead
of Miami which is at least a 5 hour drive. Since we want other people to be able
to travel with us this is much better. Many people are reviewing our book and we
are expecting good feedback and new opportunities to promote it.
Al and I flew up to Indianapolis and did a
tailgate party June 28Th at Family Christian Center in Munster Indiana. We met a
number of interesting people and talked with them about the book. We enjoyed a
wonderful celebration of our nation’s independence with beautiful fireworks to
finish the evening. Tower Radio talked about our book and our ministry on the
air and they were a real encouragement to us.
We have also been a part of an out reach in local
communities around St. Pete. On July 27Th Debbie Nelis, Kim Perrine
and Gerald Junta represented Anita Ayers Ministries at Slam Fest along with
about 10 other area churches. Kim brought rocks to write scriptures and names
on and that was a big hit with the crowd. We are now posting this notice: "Anita
Ayers's Ministries Rocks the Slamfest!"
This group of churches have celebrations in local
parks and we minister to the people with food, music and entertainment for the
children. At the end of the program someone ministers and gives an altar call.
Then the churches invite people to come to their church, or if one of the other
churches is closer, we direct the person to that church. This touches my heart
because I believe the Lord has been speaking a word to his body to walk over
denominational lines and unite under the banner of Jesus the Messiah and his
love. What would the world think if we were able to lay aside small differences
in doctrine without compromising the foundational truth of the gospel? The
reason people of the world are able to accomplish so much is their ability to be
in unity in what they are doing. Meanwhile God’s people are pairing off in
smaller sections because we can’t agree if there should be crosses or pictures
in the sanctuary. Lord, give us strength. Let’s make up our minds to look for
ways to unite for the plan of God.
As I said a lot has been happening here. I am
giving you the thumbnail version with out all the details of daily work and
perseverance it takes to accomplish these things. But it is a real joy to see
the Lord working and it is worth all the time and effort!
I will keep you posted on what is coming up as I
can. If you have access to the web be sure to check our site for updates.
The teaching I am sharing with you this month is
from our Pastor Pat Davis of Martinsville Indiana. Pastor Pat and the people of
Gateway Tabernacle have been a wonderful support and encouragement to this
ministry and we thank God daily for them. If you know Pastor Pat you know that
one word could describe him…Loving. He has a wonderful spirit of love and grace.
When Al gave me this Cd to listen to I was deeply touched by the truth our
Pastor was speaking. I was reminded of a scripture from the Old Testament in
Proverbs 14:12:
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death.
We are living in unpredictable times and just
like the heat will expose the impurities of gold and silver these difficult
times are exposing the hearts of men. I’ve told my granddaughter, “Before you
marry a man spend a lot of time with him. Be sure to be around him when things
are tough and he is having a hard time.” Nothing exposes our character more than
challenges. Anybody can act nice once or twice a week on a planned date. Find
out what they are like after a hard day with the boss yelling at them and the
rent due and their family pressuring them! These challenging times are exposing
what is really on the inside of each one of us and what is really in the heart
of this country. This is a powerful teaching that you will want to hear a number
of times.
The one thing I would add to Pastor’s teaching
is:
Romans Chapter 8
Look especially at verse 19
For the earnest expectation of the creature
waited for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Verse 28
And we know that all things work together for
good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Verse 37
Nay, in all these things we are more than
conquerors through him that loved us.
This is the time that the children of God who
have been listening to his voice and obeying it, will stand up and shine just
like the stars! If you have been off doing your own thing, now is the time to
repent and get back under the covering that comes from obeying God. Now is the
time for us to walk in power and authority taking dominion over the works of the
devil and bringing deliverance to those who are broken and hurting and held
captive in the bondage of sin and death. It is not our job to convince people to
believe and obey God. Our job is to let them see the glory of God manifesting in
our lives so that they will be hungry for his word and his ways. Some will
choose to believe and be helped. Others will choose not to believe. We don’t
have control over that. We simply share with them what God is offering and leave
the rest between them and God.
Don’t let the gloom and doom of economic upheaval
put fear in your heart:
II Timothy 1:7:
The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear but
that of love and of power and of a sound mind!
Those who search for and obey God’s will in their
lives will be protected and blessed so that we can be a blessing to others.
There is always a reward for hearing and obeying God. A song keeps rolling
around my heart that Maggie sang when she was with the Whiteland Airs entitled,
“He’ll make a way.” It is a wonderful Cd and if you would like a copy you can
contact our daughter Maggie at State Auto Sales:
PH # 317-422-7022.
God will make a way in the middle of
nowhere! Just like he did for the children of Israel standing between Pharaoh’s
army and the Red Sea! Expect the Red Sea of your life to part and then allow you
and your family to walk through on your way to the promise land. Until next
time…
Hugs, Anita
All scripture quoted is from the Kings James
Version
